'Stone for the Homeless': St Peter, Corpusty, Norfolk

Here are three photographs of 'Stone for the Homeless' by Geoffrey Aldred. This is one of seventeen stones that form part of The Lettering Arts Trust's 'Art & Memory Collection', located in the graveyard of Corpusty Church, north Norfolk. The carved figure of a man sitting stroking his dog was inspired by a man who lived in a London park for fifteen years. I applaud The Norfolk Churches Trust for agreeing to 'house' this public art in one of their churches. It feels like another positive phase of the rejuvenation of a church that was once so close to dereliction.
